Ajit Pai’s FCC, which is by its own description, taking a weed-whacker to the last 40 years of broadcast regulation, moved to rapidly dismantle the Lifeline modernization program put into place by his predecessor.
While engaging with Pai’s FCC is proving to be an exercise in futility, here’s the comments we filed in response to the reconsideration of the federal Lifeline order that added broadband to subisidized communication services and authorized 9 federal Lifeline broadband providers.
