The BA-CLC has sent a letter to Congressperson Barbara Lee asking her to reschedule her fundraising event at the Marriot Hotel during the police militarization expo Urban Shield
The letter asks Lee to consider a) canceling the event b) informing the Marriot that they should cancel next year’s Urban Shield event c) use some time at her fundraising event to discuss police militarization
